Having a ready made pack, also known as a go kit  and the ability to travel at a moment's notice marks you as the kind of person who is ready for any situation.   This kind of kit is also extremely useful for camping. 

This setup shows a survival kit that is cost conscious and yet gives you everything you need.

Kit contains

knife, med kit, canteen, magnesium strip, hatchet waterproof, matches, sas survival guide, mess kit, water filter, emergency flashlight, bivvy sack, sleeping bag, backpack, camp shovel, utility knife. These cover your equipment essentials.   I would also reccommend adding these inexpensive items: fishing line, treble hook, a few large plastic trash bags, compact high energy food, bug spray, some vitamins (see the accessories page for more suggestions)

You can order any of these go kit items which you don't have yet online by scrolling down.  Alternatively you can check out some of our other kits.   This kit has a total cost in the neighborhood of $350 from our supplier.  We are in the process of organizing a minimalist kit, a high quality kit, an accessories package, and a set which covers some niceties like tents, cookstoves and so forth.
