| These items are not easily classified elsewhere, but are general supplies that have a high demand factor. Babies are a fact of life and many people may find themselves responsible for the care of a baby or small child when a crisis happens. Care for a small child is always difficult, but when people find themselves in a situation that even adults have difficulty navigating, a small child is even more of a challenge than usual. Things such as diapers, baby formula, and infant medicines will disappear along with everything else. By nature these items are highly consumable and very important to have, if an infant is in your care. For those who have long shelf life items such as diapers, these become great trade items even if the supply is no longer needed. This category has only one other item, and that is survival in a can. These mini survival kits usually come in the form of a few small, critical items that are packed into a drinking cannister. They usually contain some small tools, firestarters and some first aid equipment. While the items may not be of great quality, they are undoubtedly useful and portable. If the local sporting goods stores have closed up shop, those few who are lucky enough to have these items will be glad they do. Additional hard to classify, highly functional items that aren't on the list will be added to this section, although they will remain un-numbered. The last few years have brought some exceptional products onto the market, that have extremely high utiiity and weren't widely available during the time this list was made.
