How to Make Glue and other basic adhesives using pine tar pitch.

This series of videos demonstrates how to extract and create glue using sap from a pine tree.  Presumably the pitch of other trees can also be used, although the adhesives would have somewhat different characteristics and preparation requirements.

Adhesives and glue have a wide variety of uses including affixing items such as arrowheads and speartips, to more mundane things like water proofing and of course simple glue based applications.

By familiarizing yourself with glue making techniques, bow construction and flint knapping you can create a powerful bow  using just a rock, fire, wood or reeds and a fireproof container.

You should familiarize yourself with this technique, it can be extremely useful.  Adhesives are a fundamental block of construction as well.   Proper knowledge of glue making can be very advantageous both for construction of clothing and longer term shelters.
